A Colorful Love Story | Taylor & Alex at Windsor Manor

Some wedding details are beautiful, and some are the kind that make you smile every time you think about them. Taylor and Alex's wedding had plenty of both.
Their morning celebration at Windsor Manor brought together bright pinks, warm oranges, and dusty blue accents, along with a few personal touches that made the day feel like them. From a first look before the ceremony to a surprise gift for their dog, Piper, Taylor and Alex found fun ways to make their wedding about the life they're building together.
A First Look Before the Ceremony
Before guests arrived for the ceremony, Taylor and Alex shared a first look. It's a chance to step away from the busyness of the day and spend a few minutes together before everything gets started.
Their ceremony took place in Windsor's garden, surrounded by family, friends, and colorful floral arrangements. Four flower girls added a sweet touch to the processional, and the garden provided a lovely backdrop as the couple exchanged vows.
The day also included a memorial seat for Taylor's father. It's a small detail, but one that can mean so much on a day when you wish certain people could be there to share it with you.

Colorful Details & Romantic Tablescapes
Taylor and Alex chose a palette of bright pinks, oranges, and dusty blue. The colors brought a playful feel to the day while still working beautifully with Windsor Manor's classic setting.
For the reception, they paired Windsor's ivory crushed taffeta linens with light blue cottonesse napkins and silver chargers. Their centerpieces featured florals from Honeycomb Florals alongside Windsor Manor's vase collection and LED candlelight. Dusty blue cheesecloth runners added a little texture to the tables, while the pearl-detailed cloth at the sweetheart table gave the couple's spot its own special touch.
We loved how the colors carried throughout the space without competing with one another. It felt cheerful, romantic, and just right for a June wedding.

A Morning Wedding With a Special Twist
Taylor and Alex chose a morning ceremony, giving their wedding a slightly different feel from the traditional evening celebration. But an earlier start didn't mean skipping a sit-down meal. The couple opted for a plated "lunch" rather than a buffet, creating a more traditional dining experience for their guests.
It's a good reminder that your wedding doesn't have to follow a set formula. You can choose the time, meal style, and traditions that feel right for you.

A Surprise for Piper
One of the sweetest details of the day happened while Taylor and Alex were signing their marriage license.
Taylor surprised Alex with an official doggy adoption certificate for Piper.
If you're a dog person, you understand why this is such a fun idea. Pets are part of the family, and Taylor found a way to celebrate Piper's place in theirs. It was a thoughtful surprise for Alex and a little reminder that their wedding wasn't just about the two of them. It was about the family they're creating together, too.

Building Memories, One Block at a Time
Instead of a traditional guestbook, Taylor and Alex chose a custom Jenga set for their guests to sign.
Guests added their names to individual blocks, helping the couple build a keepsake they can display at home and enjoy for years to come. It's a fun alternative to a book of signatures, especially for couples who want something they can see and use long after the wedding is over.
We love when couples put their own spin on familiar traditions. This one was both personal and practical, with a little piece of their wedding day built into every block.

A Vintage Getaway to End the Day
To finish their celebration, Taylor and Alex used Windsor Manor's Grand Departure Car enhancement, arranged through one of our third-party partners.
There's something about leaving in a vintage car that makes the end of a wedding feel extra special. After a morning spent surrounded by family and friends, it gave the couple one last moment to enjoy together before heading off as newlyweds.
Guests sent them on their way with bubble wands and bubble guns, filling the departure with bubbles and plenty of smiles. It was a fun ending to a day that had no shortage of personal touches.
