How We Make Out-of-State Wedding Planning Stress-Free and Effortless

Planning a wedding from another state can feel like a lot. You’re trying to tour venues, meet vendors, choose décor, make decisions and keep track of all the little details, all while you’re miles away. And when you’re planning a destination wedding, the last thing you want is to spend your wedding weekend running around town trying to pull everything together. That’s why we’ve designed the Windsor Manor experience to make planning from out of state as easy as possible.
From virtual venue tours and our online planning portal to rehearsal dinner options and on-site accommodations, we’ve built a lot of the process around making things easier for our couples, no matter where they live.
See Windsor From Wherever You Are
We know that making a trip to Augusta for a venue tour isn’t always easy, especially when you’re planning a wedding from another state. That’s where our virtual venue tours come in.
You can tour the Manor, see our ceremony and reception spaces, take a look at the getting-ready suites and explore the grounds, all while chatting with our team and asking questions along the way. It’s a great way to get a feel for Windsor before making the trip to Augusta, and for some couples, it means they can choose their venue without needing to travel at all.
Once you’re a Windsor couple, we keep that same convenience going throughout the planning process.

Your Planning Details, All in One Place
One of the trickiest parts of planning a wedding from out of state is keeping track of everything. What décor is available? What does a particular setup look like? Which forms do you need to complete? When are they due? Our virtual planning portal puts all of that in one place.
You’ll have access to the forms and information you need throughout the planning process, along with photos of the décor and other details we have available here at Windsor. So instead of trying to remember what you saw during your venue tour months ago or emailing your planner every time you want to see an option again, you can browse it all from home.
It’s one less thing to keep track of, and one more part of the planning process that you can handle from your couch, your office or wherever you happen to be.

Make Your Wedding Weekend Easier, Too
For an out-of-state couple, planning doesn’t stop with the wedding day.
There’s the rehearsal dinner. There are accommodations to think about. And then there’s figuring out how to bring your closest family and friends together before and after the wedding. We’ve created options that make it possible to keep more of your wedding weekend right here at Windsor.
Rehearsal Dinner at Windsor
Our rehearsal dinner packages are designed to make gathering with your closest family and friends simple. Tables, chairs, linens, décor, food and beverage service, a champagne toast, a Bluetooth speaker and service staff are all included, so you don’t have to start from scratch planning another event in a city you may not know well.
We also know that every wedding weekend looks a little different. Rather than assuming every couple needs their rehearsal at the exact same time, we work with you closer to your wedding date to determine the best timing for your rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
It gives you one less event to coordinate from hundreds of miles away.

Stay at Casa Blanca
Then there’s Casa Blanca, our on-site accommodations at Windsor Manor.
Having your closest family and friends stay on the property can make a destination wedding weekend feel much more connected. Everyone is already together, and no one has to worry about coordinating multiple cars or figuring out how to get back and forth from the venue. Casa Blanca has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and space to sleep up to 10 guests, giving your group a comfortable place to stay right at the venue. On your wedding morning, you can wake up just steps from where you’ll say “I do.” Your family can gather for coffee and breakfast. You can spend a little more time together before the day gets started. And for the morning after, you don’t have to say goodbye quite yet.
Casa Blanca gives your closest family and friends a place to gather, have breakfast, enjoy the patio and spend a little more time together before everyone heads home.
For couples traveling to Augusta from out of state, having accommodations right on the property can take a surprising amount of stress out of the weekend.

Destination Wedding Planning Without All the Extra Stress
When people hear “destination wedding,” they often picture complicated travel arrangements, unfamiliar vendors and a long list of details that have to be coordinated from afar. It doesn’t have to be that way. A destination wedding should give you the chance to bring your favorite people somewhere special. It shouldn’t feel like you’ve taken on another full-time job.
At Windsor Manor, our all-inclusive approach brings so much of the wedding experience together in one place. Your venue, catering, planning support and many of the details that make up your wedding day are already here. Add in virtual venue tours, an online planning portal, rehearsal dinner options and on-site accommodations, and you can plan your wedding from wherever you call home.
Whether you live in Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, New York or somewhere much farther away, you shouldn’t have to feel like you’re planning your wedding alone. You can plan from home. We’ll take care of the details here. And when you finally arrive in Augusta for your wedding weekend, you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying the people who traveled to celebrate with you.
That’s our idea of effortless wedding planning, and exactly how we think a destination wedding should feel.
